Step 3 - Traveller details

Booking with Airpoints Dollars™

This page displays the flights you have selected and is where you enter the details for all travellers so we can process your tickets. This is also where you can choose your payment options for each traveller. If you have not already logged in to 'My Account' you will be asked to before proceeding. For login help, click here.

  2. These are the flights you selected.
  3. The first passenger details will already be filled in with your name, along with other profile information you have saved in 'My Account'. If you are not travelling, you can replace your details with another passenger's details. A daytime phone number is required for the first traveller so we can let you know if there are any changes to your flight times.
  4. To pay for another traveller with your Airpoints Dollars, they must have already been added to your Gifting Register. Select one of your registered giftees from the drop-down list and their details will appear in the passenger details section below. Then click on the circle next to Pay with Airpoints Dollars in the green section above the giftee's name.

  5. To pay for other travellers by credit card, first check that Pay with Credit Card is selected in the green section above the passenger name fields, then type in all information marked with an asterisk (*) including a title for each traveller - even children and infants.
  6. Enter passport details (including gender and date of birth) for each passenger if known. This will save you time when you check in for your flights.
  7. If the traveller requires Special Assistance, select this here. If the type of special assistance required is not in the list, please phone 0800 737 000 so that the booking may be made and include all supporting documentation.
  8. If travelling return, Air New Zealand Travel Insurance will be automatically added to your booking. If you do not require travel insurance, choose 'no thanks' here.
  9. The total payable in Airpoints Dollars and by credit card is shown here. Changing your payment options in the green section above each passenger's name will update these totals.
  10. If you decide that you do not wish to continue with the booking, select Start Over to return to the Search page.
  11. If you are happy with your itinerary, select Continue.
