Step 4 - Purchase tickets

Booking with Airpoints Dollars™

This page displays the flights you selected, names of travellers, total costs and fare conditions specific to your itinerary. Your payment summary shows the cost of this itinerary in Airpoints Dollars, and how much you need to pay by credit card.

1. These are the flights you selected.
   
2. These are the traveller details you entered.
   
3. Next is the total cost of your itinerary in Airpoints Dollars which will be deducted from your Airpoints Dollars balance.
   
4. Next is the summary of payments that will be charged to your credit card. This includes fares for any passengers you have chosen to pay for by credit card. Any travel insurance or domestic cancellation insurance you have selected will also be included.
   
5. If you wish to change the payment option for any passenger(s) between Airpoints Dollars and credit card, click on the Change Payment Options button. This takes you back to the Traveller Details page, where you can adjust payment options in the green section above each passenger's name. Note that you cannot pay with Airpoints Dollars for a traveller who is not on your Gifting Register. More about gifting rewards - click here.
   
6. Enter your charge or credit card details.
   Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard, ensuring all card information is encrypted for your protection. When booking, check your browser displays a padlock symbol like this.
   
   • Select Card Type from the drop down list. Cards accepted for payment online are: American Express, Diners Club, JCB, MasterCard, Visa and UATP/Travelcard.
   • Enter the Card Number, and Cardholder's Name as it appears on the card.
   • Use the drop down lists to select the card's Expiry Date month and year.

7. Please enter your Email Address here. Your Electronic Ticket, Itinerary and Receipt will be emailed to you at this address.
   
8. Please click on Conditions of Contract and Conditions of Carriage to read the terms and conditions relating to your travel.
   
   Click on the tick box to confirm that you have read, understood and accepted all Terms and Conditions and Fare Conditions.
   
9. If you do not wish to continue with this booking, select Start Over to return to the Search page. (Your credit card has not been debited at this point.)
   
10. To finish your booking, select Purchase Tickets.
