Step 3 - Traveller details

Booking with Airpoints Dollars™

This page displays the flights you have selected and is where you enter the details for all travellers so we can process your tickets. This is also where you can choose your payment options for each traveller. If you have not already logged in to 'My Account' you will be asked to before proceeding.

  1. Your Airpoints Dollars balance is shown here
  2. These are the flights you selected.
  3. The first passenger details will already be displayed with your name, along with other profile information you have saved in 'My Account'. If you are not travelling, you can replace your details with another passenger's details. A daytime phone number is required for the first traveller so we can advise if there are any changes to flight times.
  4. To pay for another traveller with your Airpoints Dollars, they must have already been added to your Gifting Register. Select one of your register giftees from the drop-down list and their details will appear in the passenger details section below. Then click on the circle next to Pay with Airpoints Dollars in the green section above the giftee's name.

  5. To pay for other travellers by credit card, check that Pay with Credit Card is selected in the green section above the passenger name fields, then type in all information marked with an asterisk (*) including a title for each traveller - even children.
  6. If the traveller requires Special Assistance, select this here. If the type of special assistance required is not in the list, please phone 0800 737 000 from New Zealand, or 13 24 76 from Australia so that the booking may be made and include all supporting documentation.
  7. The total payable in Airpoints Dollars and by credit card is shown here. Changing your payment options in the green section above each passenger's name will update these totals.
  8. It may be possible to upgrade part or all of your journey to Premium Economy or Business Class. Possible options are shown here, including the extra cost per adult traveller. Upgrade for each traveller must be paid with the same form of payment (i.e. Airpoints Dollars or credit card) as the fare. Click the Upgrade link next to your choice to treat yourself!
  9. If you decide that you do not wish to continue with the booking, select Start Over to return to the Search page.
  10. If you are happy with your itinerary, select Continue.
